Necklace Help Please!!! Repost from BHB

I know I saw a picture of bridesmaid's wearing a pearl necklace but only 1/2 of the necklace was pearls, the back of the necklace was like an organza ribbon.

Anyone have any idea what I am talking about.

I want to give my bm an earing and necklace set and a friend of mine recently gave a regular pearl necklace set so I thought these were a little different. I guess you can say it is my obstacle of the week...

I think I know what you are talking about more specifically -- was it from a couture wedding ad with almost a small choker of small pearls with a small (thin) delicate ribbon -- I cannot think of whose gown it is for but it is a lovely elegant look.

if youre looking for one in that picture go to Canal Street. They have MILLIONS of them. i saw one in a magazine that was a bit different... it was pearls kind of strung by organza, so it was like a pearl, an inch of organza, a pearl, an inch, ...... is that what youre thinkin of? ill try to find a pic.

I'm getting one JUST like that too!!!! I'm just picky and I awnt the pearls a certain size. I'm actually going tomorrow to get it..... Do you live in the city?

I'm going to go to SoHo and look at them... I saw some last time, but they werent real pearls..... I didnt like them too much so i didnt look at any, BUT nw i do like them so I'm going to try some on. I got a different looking necklace. and i ALMOST bought the bracelet. Theres this stand on Broadway that has some things for like $2!!! and theyre not bad! i swear! you obviously have to look through , but they have some really nice things. Let me post a pic of the necklace i got for $2. brb
