Necklace with halter style dress?

Any thoughts on what kind of necklace (if any) would look right with a halter style dress? I love my dress but I recently had surgery on my thyroid and my scar is going to show unless I wear a necklace (or cover it with makeup). I guess I should have thought of this when I was looking at dresses.
My scar is only about 2' and is right at the base of my neck. A choker would totally cover it....but would that look right?

I think a 2 inch choker might be overwhemling for a halter dress. Although I would prefer no necklace I would say if you really want something on your neck...go with the makeup and a thinner short necklace to draw attention away. HTH.

I'd not wear a necklace with a halter dress. I'd probably cover the scar with makeup better.

hmm I dont thin a choker would look right with a halter, but if you do some shopping maybe you could find something?

The only necklace Ive seen and liked with a halter is a simple like solitaire diamond on a thin chain.

Just to clarify...my scar is 2' across (horizontal). It is a very thin scar that is easily covered by a thin chain. But I agree...I'm not sure I like the idea of a necklace at all.
