We have an urge to go away this weekend...need some recommendations! Preferably somewhere that can be driven to and stay for 2-3 days.

Newport, RI! It's soooo pretty and there's so much to do!
If you don't mind the 8 hour drive then I'd say Virginia Beach, too
Or Montauk? The only prob is I bet these places are pretty booked up

Take the ferry to CT, go to the aquarium, old mystic village, go down to the seaport and then at night you can hit up a restaurant/bar/lounge in Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods.

Either out of Port Jefferson or Orient Point but you can also drive your car there its not that much longer in travel time.

That's a great idea, but we've already been to CT a few times. Love it there though. V, you should totally go!

Hmm Im trying to think of other places but with it being a 4 day holiday weekend Im pretty sure places are going to be booked or their prices will be through the roof for the holiday.

go upstate to a lake, like poconos or lake george!!
I went to college in Providence. There is definitely a lot to do over a long weekend. There is atwells avenue, thayer street and you should also check out waterfire. There is also roger williams park!
