Re: Need a band...

Prime Time Live is really good--I've heard them play a couple or times.

Code Bleu is awesome too---

I am using Prime Time Live which is part of LI Paramount. Body Heat is also very good.

Re: Need a band...

we are using Times Square Orchestra They are amazing - I am really excited I keep running into people who used them or attended weddings that they played at - and they all give them A+++++++++. Joe and Mary Ann are very easy to work with- but everytime I refer someone to them they are already booked!

Re: Need a band...

We saw John Marshall Band at a wedding and they were great - unfortunately they were booked for our date and recommended Skyline Orchestras - we booked them the night we heard them at a showcase - they were fantastic!! Both of these bands have very reasonable prices too!

I am using Arcadia also part of LI Paramount. I have also seen Rengade perform at a wedding and they were amazing and kept everyone dancing all night.

Re: Need a band...

Our vote is for The Mystic. sound great, reasonably priced.8 pieces, and I believe(not positive) at times they will scale down to 5 pieces to be even more friendly to your wallet$$$$$.

Re: Need a band...

I looked at a whole bunch of swing type bands and we are going with NYC Swing. They are pricey and have a min 6 piece. I did discover a couple of smaller lesser known bands at a much cheaper price that I would be happy to share if interested...FM me and I will forward info.
