Need a gift idea...

For a friend's birthday that is coming up. Something in the $30-$40 range. She is about 4 months pregnant. Any good ideas? I was thinking of a subscription to Parents magazine, but I am not sure if that is a good magazine. But I figured you gals would know of a good gift!

Parents is a good mag but I would get her something for herself since this is the last time she will be able to think of herself as being one person. Im at a loss for something unique, there is always the prego massage or something in a gift basket.

Yeah I am at a loss too. I made her this whole gift basket when she found out she was pregnant and I think I used up all my ideas!!

I was going to suggest a pregnancy massage or maybe a pedicure/manicure. A gift certificate to a restaurant.

I am all about giving her something for herself too. Esp with my b-day coming up. Life has all been about this baby lately in everyone's minds and sometimes you need to do something for yourself and not about the baby. I wouldn't mind a pedicure right now since it is getting much harder to do them myself these days. What about makeup or perfume? Things to make her feel pretty?

I told DH to tell people to get me gift certificates for shoes. I may not have great clothes selection these days (not liking maternity clothes at all) but at least I can still wear pretty shoes!! Or if you want to stay on maternity theme - what about a gift card to a maternity store (can use in Motherhood or mimi or another sotre? I know my MIL got me one of those earlier on in my pregnancy - allows you to splurge on some new stuff without feeling guilty.
