I am so SICK of Bank of America. I have been having nothing but problems with them. Does anybody have a good bank that they use, that they can recommend!! As of tomorrow, I need to find one, b/c we are going down and withdrawing all the $$$$$ HELP!!!

HSBC - they've been wonderful. I have direct deposit with them for work and they offer me free checking with interest due to this!

washington mutual....I love them.. Their customer service is awesome.
I LOVE Citi Bank and their rewards system is GREAT! I do not like Bank of America either.

WaMu is where FH and I have an account. I have accounts at suffolk federal and teachers federal. TFCU is great. suffolk is okay.

I use HSBC and I've never had any problems. I would've totally used Wamu if there were any close by.
HSBC has nutty hours for me and that makes it difficult to enjoy cashing my paycheck on fridays! and they are such a pain to get in and out of...grr. banks just stink in general though. time to invest in a safe....

I bank with Astoria and Commerce, I say Astoria is better because they also have no fee accounts and my atm card is a debit and a credit card, with Commerce of course they are no fees and open late but my card is only a debit card and that annoys me also if i pay my credit card online from commerce there is always a few days delay for the payment to post and astoria is always right away JMO

who's name are they taking for the banks? i use wachovia [from before i moved to NY] and they bought first union and kept the wachovia on all of them...the only glitch fell on the customers of the former bank name...so i glided right through that...but i received tons of mail warning me it could be a mess.

IDK if they are keeping the north fork name - but I know a ton of people that work there in branch support and they are all getting laid off (their office is in melville) - but it will be all 'capital one' systems, so it will be a nightmare!

I bank with Commerce and I never have a delay....
how do you have an atm debit and credit card? i never heard of that!! thats pretty cool.
