need a non profit to donate to for soldiers

Hi Ladies,

FH & I have decided to give a donation instead of favors. We are already donating to the Brain Tumor Foundation but I would also love to donate to some foundation that is connected to our soldiers. I am not sure which one to choose. Does anyone have any ideas or if you or someone close to you is/was a soldier, I would love to hear which foundations are most beneficial to our heros.

TIA!

I am a Dir. of Student Activities, and I am highly involved with our veterans organization on campus. I know that one of their charities they like to help out with deals with getting phone cards for troops overseas so that they can talk with loved ones...it's a simple one, but troops really appreciate it!

ETA: Here is a link with some info for you!

My friend is actually over in afganistan right now working for the USO. They do all sorts of activities and things to keep the troops spirits up. If you would like, I can give you his contact information, and I am sure he would be happy to take a donation!
