need advice - FH's bday (with POLL)

Original post by little j

OK. so fh's bday is tomorrow. he is (or should be) in study mode for a BIGGG test he is taking next friday (pray )

Anyway, I didnt really plan on seeing him since he should be studying, and I am taking him on a surprise weekend get away next friday through sunday.

but now i am thinkin i should see him...so the question is....should i be at his house early in the morning when he leaves for work and maybe pack him a lunch (leaving him the evening available to study)??

or

screw the studying (since there is no guarantee he will definately study anyway) and take him out to dinner

or somemthing else?

Do something small on his birthday. Than make an overnight reservation at a place like Danford's in Port Jefferson. Tell him you are taking him out to dinner in Port Jefferson for his birthday. Than have desert in the hotel room Just don't tell him about the desert .
I did this to my FH last year he loved it....it was a great surprise for him staying at Danford's after dinner. Than we had brunch the next morning. It was wonderful!

well im taking him away the night of the test for the weekend...but thats not until next week. i did soethin like this for FH last year with a cruise dinner boat, and then i surprised him by stayin at the marriott marquis. it was awesome!!!!!!

I bet it was awesome........hell, do it again.

too much $$$$$$. but it was awesome. his bday was during the week, so he was likey o shyt. i guess ill have to wear these clothes again to work and i was like yeah. dont worry. guys dont notice that shyt.

meanwhile, i bought him 2 new outfits - including shoes, socks, boxers, etc - for work. it was soo cute!

I would say dinner. His test is Friday so it's not like, if you go out to dinner, he'll fail his test. It's his Birthday, take him out.
