Need advice. Or therapy? Haha
My sister is my MOH and we have had way too many arguments about a certain situation already:For her wedding, I wore a different but similar dress than her bridesmaids (I was MOH) which was HER decision. My dress still looked good next to theirs since their dresses were black and mine was a dark purple.
Now for my wedding, she is INSISTING that she wear something different, which is fine, but every time I say something like 'so what do you think of copper for the girls?' Her response is 'but what will I be wearing?!?!' Which is not the question I'm asking her or even thinking about right now, since I feel like I should choose the bm's colors first then base my sisters color off of theirs.. She has gotten me so heated about this, I have told her that she made her decision when it was her wedding and now I will make my decisions because it is mine. I told her that I need her support in the questions I'm asking her, not the questions she's asking, so that I can eventually answer the other questions, and now she's fighting me on every detail to get her way, when I have changed my mind about 8 times already and I just need a solid opinion.
Any advice? We have a best friend relationship but we are quick to get angry with each other... Do I make decisions based on her or do I hold my ground? Do I just start asking other people for opinions and leave her out till the decision is final? She is getting me stressed when I have no reason to be. :/
Sorry for the rant!

Make your own decisions... I have a difficult bridesmaid, also. I just don't discuss certain things with her bc I know we don't see eye to eye. I'd say make the color decision without her input... and when it's time to try on dresses, then include her... and just tell her what's up with the colors.I am doing black dresses with a white sash for my bridesmaids and a black dress with a red sash for my MOH. My MOH is pushing for an all red dress with a black sash, but I don't want her to be THAT different from all the other girls. I feel like I am the only one who should wear a different color dress lol!!!! So I will bring her to try on dresses but when it comes time to order, I am ordering the way I want it. I just don't discuss it anymore.

HOLD YOUR GROUND!!! She had her day, this is YOURS!!!!If you are unable to speak to her about the important things, you could possibly look to a bridesmaid for suggestions.

I agree. Just do what you need to do and she can get with the program.
