Need affordable venues for summer 2015

I looked at a whole bunch of places on the water for Summer 2015. I can tell you that the ones I looked at- Land's End, Chateau La Mer, Crescent Beach Club, Captain Bills, and bridegview yacht club are all well over $80 per person. The only water front venue I saw in your price range was Venetian Yacht Club but there is no outdoor cocktail hour.

Try the Snapper Inn in Oakdale. My mom got remarried there last year in one of their smaller rooms and it was great. They have a beautiful larger room right on the water. You should also look at Captain Bills in Bay Shore.

2nd. Snapper Inn just opened a new room bc of Hurricane Sandy and its on the water. Really quaint and pretty!

Timber Point! It is sort of on the water, fits your budget, has an outdoor cocktail area, is one wedding at a time, and the food is amazing!

I would definitely check out Crest Hollow. I've been there for a wedding and they have a very nice outdoor area. I have also heard that they are very affordable.

I 2nd those who suggested West Sayville. We are paying $100 per person including taxes and fees for our wedding in May 2015.

The view is beautiful and you have the option of having the ceremony on the dock of the maritime museum next door. Supposedly they are adding a large patio in the back sometime this year or next so hopefully that happens!

The Pavillion at Sunken Meadow was too expensive for us and had too many additional charges (tent, parking, etc).

we are having our wedding at venetian yacht club on a sat night in july the starting price they quoted us with a 200 person minimum was $110++ if you guarantee 225 it's $105++. I think it started at $90++ for a friday or sunday. we are having part of the cocktail hour outside...the room downstairs has an outdoor area if you aren't having your ceremony there.

Check out the Bayview House at Captain Bills in Bayshore. It's right on the marina. Our pricing for April 2015 wasn't bad at all. You do have to guarantee 125 guests no matter what though.
