I am looking for a place to rent 150 chair covers for 10/2005. I want them for the ceremony & reception and I suppose set up would occur before the ceremony and then during cocktail hour? White with a purple sash is my preference since the table cloths at the hall are white with white satin stripes.
The lowest price we have so far is $3 per person plus 18% service & 8.75% tax = $577. This would be through the hall. This just seems too high to me since they only need to be laundered and then are used tons of times over and over again?!?!
I am trying to find a lower price if possible which would include set up of the chair covers.

I got chair covers for my wedding - I have to say I did a lot of research - $3.00 is a great price!!

Wow!!! And here I am thinking $3 pp for 150 guests plus 18% service & tax is a rip off. FI sure thinks $577 for 150 chair covers is a lot.
Now I will have to let him know that it's not as bad as we thought.

$3 is the cheapest you will find it. My catering hall does not provide them so an outside source would have cost me $8 per chair and that's not including a set up fee or tax. If your serious about chair covers, go with your hall.

$3 is a really good price. Linens and chair covers are way more expensive than they should be.

Tell me about it. $577 to have the chairs not clash with anything.
I may ask them to use the cocktail hour chairs instead. They have high gold backs and a light green or teal like seat (which nobody would notice since it's under the table or being covered by the person).
Not sure if they have enough of those to for the ceremony, then cocktail and reception though.

Wow, $3.00 is an excellent price! I used to work at a hotel and even we didn't get prices much lower than that (and we had to set it up ourselves!!)

Sowe should stop complaining and just come up with the $577 I guess. But I am not adding it yet. I wil wait until it's gets closer and then decide (and pay).
