need directions..HELP

Hey- lady's
First i need help getting to Slon Kettering in manhatten...it's on york? i need to take the Subway, as i hate driving into the city and knowing that there will be NO parking.....anyway...what Sub line is that? Second is i am going in b/c my aunt carol just took a turn for the worse, she has been batteling ovarian cancer for the past 7 years.....

i will repost when i get back to let you know how it went....oh i need to head in around 6pm tonight!

The closest train that you can take there is the 6 to 68th Street. Then you have to walk over from Lexington Ave to York (about 4 avenues over, going East)

Make sure she is at the one on York though, becasue I think they have another hospital somewhere on Lex in the 50's

actually i think they have several locations, so double check...I'd be happy to help you with directions once you find out.

the one on Lex is near my job - its on 53rd - b/w Lex and 3rd ave ... the closest train is the 6, E and V lines ... get off at lex and 51st st

thanks yes she is at the one on york b/c family told me to take the 59th st bride .....but tha tis NOT happening!......

Yeah so you just need to take the 6 train to 68th and Lex, because the hospital is on 68th and York, and you will just have to walk over a few blocks.

You can get teh 6 train from the E, V, F, and a bunch of others. Where are you coming from?

It is right by the 59th street bridge, you can pratically see the hospital from the bridge. Depending on the time you go, traffic and parking shouldn't be too bad. It's not a busy area. mostly residential. You might want to drive into Astoria or Long Island City, park by the N or W trains. It's only around one or 2 stops from Astoria or Queens Plaza (59th street station). You can also take the LIRR and then a cab.

If you decide to drive, Sloan has a parking garage and it's actually not that bad. FH and I were there 2 weeks ago to visit his mom and I think it was about $14.

I'll keep your aunt in my prayers.
