Need Gift Suggestions...

There are two preggo teachers in my school, both due in June and both have not revealed the gender of the baby. I would like to get them each something but not quite sure what to buy. Any cute, unique suggestions???

from the advice of my mother...I always get a 9 & 12 month outfit...as the MTB always gets newborn and such clothing...but the baby grows out of them so quickly!!

of course I did this for a friend who delivered 6 weeks early...almost 4 pounds...he's not wearing my clothes anytime soon :)

How much are you looking to spend?

The only bad thing about getting bigger clothes is depending on the brand and style, and of course the baby, it's so hard to tell what size they'll be wearing when. Luke is 7 months and he wears alot of 6-9 month clothes, a few 12 month clothes and even a few 3-6 month clothes. And with the change of seasons, you could end up giving something that will not fit the baby at the right time. Gap clothes are always good b/c everyone knows a nearby Gap if they need to exchange it. But it's not terribly unique.

Also do they know the gender of their babies?

I got a really cute wooden letter train that spells out his name and the letters connect by magnet and has an engine and caboose too. Cute for a boy. Also these are really cute: www.taggies.com, Lukie has the one with the blue background and yellow stars. Another gift that was nice was someone got us a miniature (6 inches x 10 inches) Radio Flyer with all kinds of cute bath toys in it. I have the name of the website it was ordered from somewhere, let me know if you want it. Or BRU carries a frame set that has a mat with 2 openings, one for a pic of the baby and in the other opening, you place the mold of the baby's footprint. It comes with both a blue & pink mat. We did his footprint when he was just a week or 2 old, it's so cute. HTH
