Need Help! Invitation to Reception to Celebrate a Wedding that took place already!

Hello all!

My uncle recently got married out of the country. He is coming back to New York with his new bride (who none of us have met yet!) and our family wants to host a reception to welcome them. Any suggestions for how to word the invitation or links to sites for similar situations?

we just went to a wedding reception for friends of ours who eloped to Vegas. The invitation to the reception was their way of announcing the elopement. Anyway, their wording was very similar.

I can't find the invitation but it was something to the effect of

Tracey and Todd invite you to celebrate the one month anniversary of their wedding on such and such a date at such and such place. It was a very simple invitation. It was not really as formal as a full wedding invitation.
