NEED HELP POSTING PICTURES/brides who posted pics please help

i asked a couple of times but no one has responded
I want to post pics when I do my review... and tried to post of my dress and my dog :) But when I go to browse and pick the jpg picture
it goes all the way to 100% and I can preview the post and it never posts???

for all of you who have posted pics
can you do a step by step for me? Thanks

i use adobe photo shop to shrink my pictures fit for the web when I post, if they are too large.

HOW DO I use adobe?? I have that on here I think
you think my pics are too large? what number should I shrink them to?

when you shring them, pick a number you think appropriate, then when you go to file, use save for web.
LIWedding pictures have to be 5o or under

Make sure you save the files as a jpeg, not bit map file. The bitmaps are too large to post.

if you have adobe photoshop...go to image...image size...and type in smaller numbers...

and like Michele said...make sure its saved as .jpg

Tammyjill: click on start then click on programs, then find your Adobe program and open it. When it's open. Click file(on the top left), then click Open(the second one on the list), then a scree will appear that says 'Look in', then you just have to find where your picture is stored on your computer (for example on your 'desktop' on in your my 'documents folder', etc) and click on the picture. That shoul dopen your picture onto the Adobe program screen. When you've got your picture on the screen click 'Image' (which is on the top, the third option), then click image size, then a screen will appear that says 'Image size' that gives you the option to make your picture smaller or bigger. Then write in 150(pixels) where it says 'Width' and that should automatically change the 'height' to 112 pixels. That should make your picture exactly 50k (it'll say it at top where it says 'Pixel dimensions'). Then you have to resave it. So go to 'file' (at the top left) then click 'save as' (if you want to save it under a different name so you'll keep the orginal picture the same) and save it under a new name. Then a screen will appear that says 'JPEG options ', and it should say 'maximum' (which just means that the picture will be clearer). Then click 'ok'. And that's it, that will make your picture(s) 50k and allow you to post it on LIWeddings. When you get to LIweddings, click on 'Browse', then find where your picture is stored on your computer and click on it and just hit 'Post Reply'.
Ok well hope this helps. It sounds way more complicated than it really is, so don't worry it's really easy when you get a hang of it. Good Luck!! Let me know if it doesn't work.

MY Computer only has adobe 5.0
doesnt say nothing about pics
now what do I do.... this is so frustrating b/c I have been on here forever and feel like I know you all and can never post a pic
I will have to see if there is another way to reduce
I went to file /open and tried to open a pic in adobe 5.0
but it said unsupported or something like that

Tammyjill: I have the Adobe 5.0 limited edition. I'm not sure why it would say unsupported though. If you want you can e-mail me a picture that you want to post and try to figure out why there's an error. My e-mail address is [email protected]

I just tried to do a post and...... when I hit preview post... it said attachment from tammyjill and I saw the pic??? but my post is not on here????> and it went all the way to 100% once again
also, u are getting married in the floral terrace my FH's dream place he wanted to be married there so bad, and I fought for fox hollow b/c I fell in love w/ it when a friend of mine got married there and I was a bridesmaid... I will send u a pic of me and him to play with

That's really weird, it should have posted if you saw it on the preview and hould not have changed in size. Send it to me and I'll try to figure it out.

Ok: I fixed it, but the pic is 50k, but it looks small. I'm going to post 2, one that I left alone and one that I cropped. Let me know which one you like.

I'll delete them from here and put it on whatever thead you want after you pick one.

that was the deal b/c he didnt like fox hollow as much as your place, we had to bargain, he got a dog
and I got my fox hollow
