need hugs - freaking out - wedding is tomorrow

I posted my goodbye yesterday and was so happy, I am trying so hard to remain positive, but yesterday for our rehearsal dinner I get a call that there is a blackout at my hall so no rehearsal, then today is a blizzard and my favorite uncle's flight got cancelled and he can't come, now 5 minutes I get a call that my MC is violently ill and will not be doing my wedding and they are replacing him with Rocky from Hart to Hart. (we had Marco)

Does anyone know him? We met with Marco 3 times and were so crazy about him. He was one of my favorite parts! Its just that I shuld be relaxing right now and instead everything feels like it is all up in there air. I was doing FINE until I got the call about the MC. Oh, and Friday last week someone broke into my car and stole the Garmin GPS. I know there is a saying that God only gives you what you can handle but I am really right at the edge of that right now.

Please just send some positive vibes my way girls. Thanks so much!

The good news is the weather should clear up on time. Think of it this way, every wedding has its last minute dramas.... and now you know what yours will be..... I'm sure your DJ will be fine. Be grateful a substitute was so easily accessible....

Jesus, sweetie! That sounds like a lot to deal with! But listen, the fact of the matter is this: regardless of the weather, of who is in attendance at your wedding, who does the announcing of the bridal party, parents and bride & groom, no matter if you have a cell phone or GPS anymore, it is not going to matter when you are walking down the aisle and see your beautiful husband-to-be smiling at you!

I truly believe that all of this drama will not be in your mind when you are walking toward him and then taking your vows. When you dance your first dance and kiss each other millions of times tomorrow night, you will not have any less of a wonderful time because all these things went wrong. Just think- since this all happened over the last week up until today, then tomorrow will be snafu free!!

Have a bowl of ice cream [makes me feel better!] take a long hot bubble bath, listen to some relaxing music and mentally prepare for the fact that, tomorrow, you will be the love of your life's wife. You will be beautiful in your gown, you will have the time of your life and will spend a fabulous day with family, friends and great food and drink!!

well it sounds like you've had a streak of bad luck.....but at least these are things you're finding out today and not on the day of.......try to cheer up and just go with the flow (easier said then done I'm sure!!).....but at least now you know about the MC and you won't have surprises tomorrow. Look, you are marrying the man you love. On your 10 yr anniversary you won't remember the name of your MC. The lights will be back on at RH and the wedding will be great!!!!!!!!
