I made this for my sister's shower in March, but it needs something on top and something possibly on the bottom of the layers. Any ideas? I wanted to put the ducks on top but they are too big

What about if you buy things off of her registry that are small that you can stick in the bottom layer of ribbon...like if you buy the flatware and stick the forks knives and spoons in the ribbon around the bottom...i dont know that was the first thing that came to mind

or you can buy artifical flowers and glue them to the ribbon

I always make towel or diaper cakes for showers. I fill it in with the little things from the registry...if that's too expensive, go to a store and pick up a spatula, garlic press, mini wisk etc

I make towels cakes, too. You can put a shower puff at the top. CVS has some big full ones, but I am sure you can get one anywhere.
