Ill try austin street first and hopefully find something there. If not i have to start the mad hunt. I always wait until the last minute and drive myself crazy.

almost all the dress stores have closed down. I hate what steinway street has become

oz boutique is way overpricedd.. i kno thats prob the store ur talking bout..lol try it anyway.. sometimes they have sales..and i knwo theres a store like a block away that has a lott of long dresses.

thats exactly the store i was talking about so funny. I bought my e-party dress there and a dress for NYE, its different to spend that much for an event for yourself but right now not going to spend $700 on a dress to attend a wedding lol. Yeah i know which one youre talking about, the salespeople annoy me but that might be a good option, their dresses arent as expensive. I just have to make sure i dont walk by OZ lol

the thing im afraid with at davids bridal is if i will look too bridesmaidy, since i dont know what type of bm dress they have i dont want to risk getting anything close to it. I can try estelle's i guess. Maybe one night i can make it to farmingdale.
I dont want to spend ALOT, like the store i mentioned the dresses start at $500-600 and up. But willing to spend $200-300 ill use a card lol

jcrew has a dress for 295 thats long and comes in a bunch of colors (i think its sofia)
ann taylor has some long ones as well..some over 300, but i just saw one for 250

i would think you could get something at L&T for that for sure. I won't spend more than $300 on a dress. they have a black dress shop too for formal... I have coupons if you need.![]()
I do well at bcbg, century 21 (westbury, NOT manhattan I hate that one) and I got my eparty dress (casual though) at annie sez in merrick.

ohhh i bought a really nice long black dress for a wedding i went to in aug. i have pics in my album. i got it at macys.. i loved it.. it was perfect for a black tie affair! (and for big boobs!)

Do you have a White House/Black Market by you? They have great dresses and they're not too overpriced.

I love OZ but yes they are expensive. It may be too late but maybe for the next wedding coming up, you can go to the store or search the internet (I love Jovani!) and get the serial # (if you go to the store and try it on-you'll know your size) and ebay it. I once went to OZ and a dress I loved was $550 not including tax and at the time it was a lil ove rmy budget and I just decided to google it on ebay and I found the same color/size for $300!! Sssshhhhh don't tell anyone my secret...![]()
there is a store in Roosevelt Field near Betsy Johnson..I dont know the name but they have great gowns not TOO MUCH $$ but really gorgeous stuff....wish I knew the name sorry!
