I don't have one on the west side (although I used to live there) but I have a recommendation for one on the upper east side. Her name is Remzia and she works in Pin Point Tailors on 84th street between 2nd & 3rd. A lot of people I know swear by her and I am going to be taking a bridesmaid dress to her to fix next month. I don't have her number with me but I'm sure that you can find it on line.

I don't have one on the west side but I always have my tailoring done by Leung's. They are on Lexington between 91 and 92 (across from the Y)
