I'm looking for a OB/GYN, but want to go based on referral. I'm in Bayside, but anyone in New Hyde Park, Lake Success, or Manhasset area is fine. Oh, I prefer a female too.

My doctor is in East Hills (right next to Manhasset). She is in a practice with another woman and I think two men. Her name is Dr. Judy Mittleman. I don't have her number but I think the practice is called East Hills Gynecology.

If you prefer a woman there is Dr. Sarah Linkie. She is in the same office
It's about 3 min from North Shore (which I think they might also be affiliated with)

My dr is at 410 Lakeville Road (right next door to LIJ). Her name is Dr. Marci Ostroff -- let me know if you want her info. I love her, she was great and so was everyone on her staff.

I use Dr. Melissa Oppenheimer, formerly of Pro Health in Lake Success. She recently moved to Great Neck (on N. Blvd). Let me know if you want her info!

I go to the same office. But I go to the nurse practitioner. Her name is Wendy Frost.

Before I moved I used the same dr. as Tracy, Dr. Korn. I was originally referred to the woman dr. in that office Karen Weiss. A family friend used her. She was unavailable at the time so I used Dr. Korn. However, she now has an office in Lake Success. I worked in the same building as her. I overheard many great things about her, so I hope it is the same person.

ETA: I got that # from the yellow pages online. I am starting to think it may not be the right Dr. Weiss. You better check your insurance provider directoryt under OB/GYN.

I use the same Dr as Tracy. I go to Dr. Sarah Linkie. Shes great. There are also 2 other men in the practise, Dr. Korn and Dr. Talbman. I have seen Talbman and Linkie and love them both. FM me if you want more info or their phone number.

Tracy, I love him! He is so nice! Dr. Linkie is my Dr but ever since I became pregnant I have only seen him! I go next week for my 11 week sono with him. Where you happy with him?

ETA: yes! I started out with Dr. Karen Weiss, too until she left.

I also use her & I also love Dr. Marchbein. Actually They are all great Drs.

He was great during my c-section. But Dr. Korn is my absolute favorite.

I saw Wendy Frost once too for a routine pap. I liked her and l loved Dr. Korn. He recc. the OB I started with when I moved to Suffolk.

I used to go to Dr.Ostroff too until I moved to NJ! She is great - and her staff is too. All women!

Thanks everyone, I will see which of these are cov'd by my insurance.
Michele, no announcements, but I'm not seeing Barbara anymore, and need someone for routine visits, as a 'just in case', or for when we TTC again.
If I get pg again, I have no idea if I'll have a midwife or OB, who knows maybe I'll deliver at home!
