Ladies, I need your opinion. I just got a quote for a sunday and Saturday day wedding. Surprisingly, Saturday day was a lot cheaper. Have any of you seen this? My FH said its bc people don't like to go to Saturday day weddings. Thoughts?
that is surprising to me, too! personally, as a guest, i would rather attend a saturday daytime wedding. If it is much cheaper than a Sunday, I would go for it!
My wedding is a Saturday day wedding. I'm really excited about it plus I honestly feel like your guests are more likely to stay longer because it ends earlier. Then depending on what you want to do after you have the whole night to spend with FH. We might do an after party and tell everyone to meet us somewhere if they want!

I'd take a Saturday Day Time wedding over a Sunday Day Time wedding... this way people stay till the end becasue they have the next day off.
I'm surprised it's less expensive.
My cousin is having a Saturday day time wedding in July.... hey, if the price is right, why not?!

I have both attended a Saturday day wedding and am having one myself. As a guest I liked it alot, it was very relaxing as it was all over by 5pm and we felt like we had the whole evening left to party! As a bride it had great pricing and for me, having a day wedding works with my venue (VYC) since it shows off the view. We are also planning on doing an after party for our cousins/friends.
We're doing a saturday day wedding! I'm really excited about it because it's more likely all of our older family members can come and stay for the whole thing, and then once we hit 6pm and the reception is over, we'll be continuing the fun at the inn portion of fox hollow...hooray for brand new bars!

I think both days are great, but you may have more fun with a Saturday wedding. Plus! If you have a party group you can always do a after hour party.
Westbury Manor =) I looked at Timber Point today, loved it, but we couldn't meet the guest requirement for Sunday and Saturday wasn't an option bc of FH's family. FH was making fun of me bc I found this decision more difficult to make than when I was picking out colleges. Lol
Fox Hollow is gorgeous =) I am hoping it gets easier from here on out. Every aspect of the wedding is soooooo important......I'm glad I have so many people to ask for recommendations
I think for sure a Saturday day is better than a night, my friend did a Saturday day cause she wanted to get married on her dating anniversary and it was in June and the only time it was on a weekend (the next year was a leap year) was that year so to get a Saturday in June was like impossible. She ended up holding an after party at a bar after and we all hung out into the wee hours anyway...I would go for it!
