Ok my theme is Crystals. Would me mixing the crystals below with rose petals on the table be too much?
I like the crysals alone! They look great on the table. Are you using white tablecloths or a color?
I think its lovely! go for it. And if you use white candles sprinkle color petels. That would be beautiful!

I think it's great! My theme was diamonds (sort of) and I wanted to spread Swarovski crystals on the tables but didn't due to lack of time...but I think it would have been awesome and different.![]()
I don't think it'll be too much. I think it's a great way to tie the theme together onto each table. Very cute idea!!
I would go with the crystals alone
The crystals look beautiful alone, but they are not on the white background you mentioned. I think if you are going to use clear crystals, and a white table cloth, the petals would give the crystals a little extra color to dance around from the candlelight.

That works out to about 25 crystals per table...it should be fine and enough especially if you scatter (instead of 'clutter') around the votives. I can't wait to see pics!
My last minute alternative was rose petals...what a cop out!![]()

Definitly just the crystals, the petals would make it busy and might take away from any affect the candlelight has on the crystal.
Do it! I think it will give it an amazing bling bling effect, especially with the rose petals.

Q- just try it out on a table at home. set it up and sprinkle both, and then just one of each.
I have been playing around with table settings for a while- it's very helpful to visualize things like that.
