Need opinions for wedding attire (I'm a guest)

I purchased a couple things this week to wear to a wedding and I'm trying to decide which is more appropriate. It's a formal evening outdoor wedding in Newport, RI.

Here are the 2 options:

with full-cut black pants

My FH is really pushing for the halter, but I'm leaning towards the wrap dress. I'm concerned I'll be uncomfortable in the halter since I'll have to wear a strapless/convertible bra and they don't work well with my size chest. He feels the halter looks more elegant/dressy for a formal event.

BTW, attached is the jewelry I'll be wearing, which I feel 'dresses' up the wrap much more!

Opinions please!!!!

I lean towards the halter, but can relate to your concerns about a comfortable bra. You might want to check accuweather.com for Newport RI - I think it's supposed to be in the high 70's here on Saturday, so it could still be warm in the evening - too warm for long sleeves.

I'm sure it looks totally different on, but when I first clicked on the post, I thought #1 was a bathrobe, probably bc I am exhaused and wish I could stay in mine! I have the same bra problem so I know how you feel, but I like the halter for a formal wedding. good luck!

I also thought the wrap looked like a bathrobe, sorry! Maybe b/c its velvety looking on screen!!!
