Need Opinions...Mother Of The Bride dress color?

Okay, so my colors for my wedding is red, black and ivory. My bridesmaids are all in black dresses with red heels, the groomsman are in black suits with red ties and vests. My dress and the flower girl is in ivory.

But i don't know what color to have my mother in. Should she match the bridesmaids in black or should she wear another color like silver or pewter? Or even a darker ivory like champagne? We did see a dress that is ivory and black, would that be okay?

See my dilemma...Help!

I think a nice gunmetal color would go great.

i really like it when the MOB is complimentary

my girls are in passion purple

and MOB is in lilac
MOG is in eggplant

I think a black and ivory dress would look great

or all black

did you ask your mom? i know my mom was very very against wearing black to my wedding

my good friend had her entire BP and both mothers in black and it looked so classy and elegant!

a silver would look great too

She's kinda on the fence about all black but we saw this nice dress that was ivory on top and black on the bottom and it comes with a ivory bolero jacket. So i'm not sure if that is okay

I think the pewter or any dark gray would look good
