Need photographer suggestions for bride on a budget.

I've booked the ceremony & RH now onto the next big decision. I think the next thing we should look for is a photographer. I'm trying to stay on my tiny budget so I need help figuring which ones could work with my budget. I don't want to run around like a chicken with my head cut off like I did when I looked at 30 catering halls I just want to look at about 4 good photographers and decide from them. My budget is under $1,500 preferably under $1,000 (wishful thinking, I know). I would like full coverage of the event, and to recieve all my pictures on high-res CD or the negatives. I don't need albums, etc.... It would be a great help if you can either post or FM me quotes from specific photographers if you have info on their packages. Thank you so much

Check Park Avenue Studios in Sayville...Brian, he's very nice, I didn't go with them because I wasn't a fan of their albums, but the pictures were gorgeous.....Anyhow he has a package that includes full day photography and gives you the pics on a high res. CD so you can print them yourself, no copyright worries!

I think its around $1500

We used Kevin Lysaght (www.klphotography.net). He was great, he came super early and stayed through the whole night with us. Our pictures are amazing. I think we were right around your budget and that included a second photographer that we added. He doesn't have packages, so you only pay for what you want. I recommend checking him out.

I USED QUEENS BRIDAL IN MINEOLA....I DEALT WITH MICHELLE..MY PACAKGE WAS $1,515..I GET AN ALBUM MY PROOFS 11X14 AND SOME 8X10. AND 75 THANK-U. THEY ARE VERY WILLING TO WORK WITH YOUR BUDGET..THEY ARE ALSO A VENDOR ON HERE.

Dont know any cheap photographers., but if you are looking for techniques to lower the prices of a standard photo package., try not including the parent albums and thank you's in your package and it may cut the price down a bit.

You can organize your own pics on shutterfly or snapfish and create parent albums/ thank you's.

yes, Jonathan will come to your home or office to meet with you..whatever works for you....I liked that as well.
