my friend got engaged a few months ago and has asked about Nassau locations where she can have her ceremony and reception...they're on a super tight budget ($70 per person b4 tax/grat.)
being that I'm from bklyn, i didn't even know where to start!
she's looking for an outdoor space (for both ceremony & reception)...and obviously where a tent would be set up in case it rains....
does anyone have any recm's????

if she doesn't mind it not beginning a saturday night then there is sand castle, swan club, chateau briand, fox hollow, westbury manor, leonards, chateau le mer.

i dont know if they do outdoor ceremonies though - but its on the harbor - and it would be BEAUTIFUL in august

Swan Club is such a nice location. It's not outside but they have BEAUTIFUL gardens!
I am paying $90 pp ++ for a saturday in june!!!

Agreed, I know someone who got married there in August for $62 a head.... I am doing even better because I'm doing Feb. they have a pretty gzebo outside and do ceremonies there. she should definiteyl check it out. MAXIMUM is 200 though and you only have to guarantee a 100.

Prices have gone way up since I was booking my wedding but I think that if she goes just a littie bit into Suffolk, the number of choices will open up dramatically. I'm only talking about 10-15 minutes into Suffolk.
ETA: Brentwood CC, Larkfield Manor and CLM come to mind In Suffolk. In Nassau, Sans Souci.
