We looked at Harbor Crab Company (they wouldn't do a Saturday in the summer), The Grey Horse Tavern, and eventually settled on Danford's.

How about the riverview in Oakdale? I am looking into them for a Wed but haven't gotten down there yet. But it's a nice atmosphere and I think you can sit outside. There is also the Snapper inn right there too.

We rented a hall and had it catered. I really wanted a fun and private atmosphere so the flower girls and ring bearers could run around and have fun and it worked out perfectly! The hall is across from argyle lake and had great packages including bar. The place doesnt' look like anything from the outside but the inside is nice.

We did a barbecue. Its was wonderful. Every thing was very casual and comfortable.

We just went to the Riverview Memorial Day Weekend for dinner and to see my father's band play there, and it was really delicious! I don't know how they are in terms of package price though, but their standard menu, I felt, was a little expensive for what it is. Worth a shot to see though, Lessings properties usually have good party packages.

La Volpe in Center Moriches is really good.

I had mine at The Riverview. The did a great job for a great price too!

The food was good and so was the service.

If you want more info let me know.
