Need Restaurant Suggestions

OK so here it goes

Mine and FH's families have not met yet
We want to take everyone out to eat to a place that has a party room - we will have 18 adults and 8 kids

i was thinking of Matteo's because I love that place

any suggestions for queens or nassau??

I heard only great things about matteo's.

Other suggestions in queens:

L'incontro in astoria(can be a bit pricey though and theres alot of you)

Villa Roma in richmond hill

Don Juans in nassau, its mexican food, very good food and very relaxed atmosphere and i know they do have an area for bigger parties and good atmosphere for 8 kids

wow this is harder when theres alot of people hahaha ill try to see what else i can think of

i LOVE Matteo's which is my first choice
i have to call and see if there is a minimum for the party room

they do have one upstairs and they also have a smaller section of the restaurant which has an open doorway from the main area that they might be able to accomodate a bigger party.

i think they might be able to accomodate 26 people downstairs in the main dining area, definitely call just to inquire. Ive seen a big group of people there... hopefully they can do it in the smaller room downstairs, just put the tables together OR actually in the main area they have this one section this is a few steps higher and you all can sit there

Matteo's I've heard is great - My mom went to a party there and she really liked it - I've never been there...

Carosello on cross bay blvd has a private room and a game room for restless kids to go nuts in, the kids will love it... the food is good too

it is SOOOOO good, now im fiending for it lol...Their crabmeat and shrimp stuffing is delicious

carosellos is good, ive been there so many times
matteo's def. has better food though but youre right, carosello's has the game room

Because of the fact that you posted i just remember another place, how about parkside. I have been hearing only amazing things about this place and everyone raves about how good their food is. I know they do parties but I think it was you Jess who said they wont do it on a sat night just afternoon but other nights i think you can
