Need some help w/ centerpieces

Need some help w/ centerpieces

Has any past bride, or bride to be used a centerpiece like this, or plans on using one like this? My problem is that I think while the candle starts to melt it will get messy around the rose petals. What do you think, or do you have any suggestions? Anyone please

Thanks

i have never seen one of these set ups in person... but why dont you try it out for your self and see what happens?? that way you will know first hand!! some candles react differently then other candles...

That's what I though I'd do this wekend. I figures if i buy a Yankee candle maybe that would be better. They don't burn that fast, so by the third hour I figured if it got messy no one would notice

Thanks

Hi! I replied to your post on the '06 board-
Pillar candles melt inwards, no wax should pour out unless they are bumped, so you should be fine! Just no votives!
BTW, I know this- because I am allowed to used pillars on tiles on my tables!!!

I used this pic as my inspiration for my CPs. I am doing something VERY similar. I got my candles (white) from WALMART...yes, Walmart. I am using the 60 hour burning emergency candle. I think that these candles wont drip as much wax becuase they last for so long. I will have to do a test and try it out though. I dont think it would really drip that much that you would even notice though.

ETA: Im doing something similar to this

Yes pillar candles. I found out that they burn inward, so they won't drip w/ a mess. They just sort of like deflate, or shrink up so to say

It looks like the candles melt into themselves not over the sides.

I LOVE IT! We are doing floating candles and votives around it, with red rose petals, very similar....
