Need some prayers

Not sure if I posted about this yet or not. My aunt (also my godmother) was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was a small lump, they rushed in, took it out and she went to a week's worth of radiation. This all happened in April. They tested her lymph nodes and found it in a very small area. Apparently, this is where the cancer goes first after starting in an organ. They are removing that piece next week. I thought it was all clear because it was so long since the tests were done - and the first round was fine, my mom said. But Sat. she told me the second round showed it in the lymph node.

It's very upsetting to me. My mom's oldest sister died 9 years ago from brain cancer. This is her youngest sister - my mom is the youngest, and this one is the one above her. She has another, in between the one who died and this one who has cancer. And, my mom's dr. found something in her breast she didn't like, so she is getting an MRI in 2 weeks.

We all need prayers!!!!!! I don't normally air my worries here, but this one is a doozie. Thanks girls!

I know what you're going through!!! I've been there..Stay strong and think positive. If it's one Lymph node..that's not bad at all.. they caught it pretty early...

My sincere prayers are with you and your family..I hope your mom's test goes well also!!

I know what you're going through!!! I've been there..Stay strong and think positive. If it's one Lymph node..that's not bad at all.. they caught it pretty early...

Thanks. They do feel that it was only a FEW cells in the lymph node. And I guess the dr. wasn't quite sure if it's even cancer, it's just strange looking cells my mom said. I don't like any of it one bit, of course. I will be doing lots of praying this month .... maybe it will get me back to where I *should* be with that.

Praying is the only thing that gets you through things...besides family and friends of course.. You feel like you are actually doing something helpful b/c there is nothing else you can do. The helplessness is what is frustrating.

Thanks Jenn. I am a little anxious, I will go through my day and 'forget' for a while, and then I think of it and it brings me down and then I feel bad that I 'forgot.' I will just pray more ...
