Need some suggestions on gown...

I am looking for something with a lot of detail and a long train. Most of the dresses I have seen are very simple. can anyone recommend any designers. i know Pucchi has some beautiful gowns... any others?

I think Eve of Milady and Demetrios have a number of dresses with alot of detailing and long trains.

Good luck in your search!

Ok...I wanted a really sparkly gown. Very difficult to fine. I guess that is sort of what you mean by detailed. I would definitely recommend Kenneth Pool and Reem Acra because they all have tons of beading.

I am deciding between a Amsale dress from the blue label collection and a dress by this Italian designer called Amelia Casablanca.

I say Eve of Milady too, their dresses are beautiful! I am not sure about the train, though....

I know that P.C. Mary gowns mostly have alot of detail. They are worth checking out.

My dress is a Moonlight and it has a pretty long train, its not over done with work but it does have a bit of it all over.
Also I tried on this christina wu that had alot of sparkle to it and a nice cathedral length train as wel!

DEMETRIOS!!!!! DEMETRIOS!!!!!!!!DEMETRIOS!!!!!!!
They have a dress for every woman's style, I am 6'1 and wanted a dress with a huge train and with LONG sleeves, which is not the in thing these days snd I was able to find it at Demetrios. Good Luck

I also say eve of milady and amalia carrara! I have an amalia and the entire bodice is beaded, even the straps and it has beading at the bottom of the skirt all the way around to the train. Good luck!

I wanted something with lots of a detail/bead work/crystals and stumbled upon a Stephen Yearick. His gowns are made-to-measure and they'll add on to whatever you want. I already had small train and I added 18' more to it.

This gives you an idea of my train:

Another great designer to check out would be Badgley Mischka!!!!!

I have an Anne Barge dress and the whole top part is detailed with sterling silver & crystals. It's hard to tell from the picture, but here's my dress. She does beautiful work!

If you want detail and sparkle check out Eva Fosythe

I believe Bridal Reflections and Macys carry her gowns.

Re: Need some suggestions on gown...

My dress was extremely beaded and designed and it was by Mariana Hardwick (australian designer). I had never heard of her before I found my dress. Like Jenny5150, I also added a foot to the train of my dress to get a much longer train. Unfortunately, she doesn't really post many dresses on her website and I am not sure if many NY/US shops carry her designs. (I have my pictures posted in the photo albums on this site.)

When I was looking, I remember Jasmine had a lot of designed/beaded dresses too.
