so FH and I booked Vineyard Caterers almost right away after seeing it and knew immediately that we'd want a wine-themed wedding. think everything wine, grapes, etc. whenever i think of 'wine-themed' though, i think of autumn for some reason. does anyone else make that association? our wedding is in the spring, and i really want springy happy sort of colors (my favorite color being green. namely, for the wedding, a lighter green). how can i marry the two ideas (spring-y colors and a wine theme). TIA for your suggestions!!
I think if you do a spring green and a purple wine color would be perfect.

maybe you could do a green and wine color combo. some of the jim hjelm dresses in moss are so beautiful, and you could add the wine accent with a sash or flowers. there's at least one dress like that in my album if you want to check it out. green is def spring.

How funny!! I really wanted to do a wine theme too, but we just couldn't do the winery thing, too far and a little too pricey, but I'm doing yellow and green, which I would have done if I was having a winery wedding too!! Think yellow roses with lots of greenery. You could incorporate the green grapes into everything. I think it would be beautiful!!

My friend is doing a sage green and pink. It looks great together. I love the ideas for yellow and wine colors as well. A wine themed wedding is going to be awesome!

you guys are AMAZING! you've given me tons of ideas!!!! i really wanted to stay away from that deep dark red wine color because i want to stick to light and springy and you've shown me a bunch of ways to do that. THANK YOUUUU

i like the idea of a wine color with green.... try it out on dessy.com you can mix and match on dresses that have a sash. i don't know if this will work, but i found one that might work.
if that didn't work i used the color bordeaux for the dress and kiwi for the sash.
