Need to VENT~

Need to VENT~

I always pictured that planning my wedding would be so fun and happy. Everyone is completely preoccupied (including me). Betweeen my grandmother's death (only 3 weeks ago), my mil's condition getting worse (lung cancer), we're just all like blah about the wedding.

I was supposed to take summer classes, but when my fmil got sick, i didn't so i could care for her. My fsil almost miscarried and was on bed rest at the time. Now i'm back in school with a heavy load, barely enough time to work and make any money-- and my fh's boss is a mean guy. my fh had to take a few days off b/c of his mother- what's fair is fair he needs to contribute to her care. He's loosing days at work- and financially contibuting to make up for his mother' s loss of salary. I agree with it- but it makes planning and paying for a wedding extremely difficult.

I'm sorry for venting. I'm just so scared of what will happen if my fmil doesn't make it. I love her and I know it's twice as hard for fh. How am I going to get him through it.....I'm praying for the best but I know the odds of small cell lung cancer and her stage is extensive. I'm so scared

Thanks for listening. I know it's long - Christina

It's ok to vent to all of us that's what we are here for. You don't have to be sorry for anything, You and FH's family are in all of our prayers. We all share the laughter and the tears together. Sending you Prayers and Hugs.

I am so sorry for what you and your family are going through. Here is a little ray of hope. I know every case is different and all cancers are different but...... When my mom was preggo with my older brother 31 years ago my dad was diagnosed with cancer. At the age of 24 he had a one year old and his wife was very preggo with number 2 and he was given six months to live. My family was very lucky because the medical field come up with an experimental surgery and it saved my dads life. Thanks to that surgery my dad has been cancer free for 30 years. So never give up hope no matter how bad it seems
