OK, I may be a little selfish on this one but OH WELL. My divorced ,pushing 40, aunt who just had a baby just got engaged from her baby's daddy. No big deal right, wrong! She is planing on getting married in 2004 and in the month of Nov. Guess what I am getting married Nov 2004! So I think ok no biggy, she will do something small, this is of course her and his second time, but nooooo they are going all out. They are having a huge big fat wedding with like 200 guests, huge bridal party, band and DJ you name it they are doing it. I am so mad because I feel like I have to compete with her for everything. Since she is loaded ( she is a dr.) I know her wedding will be ten times better then mine and she will get all those things I only wish I could have. What should I do???? Should I hit her, just kidding, but really help

Bigger doesn't mean better! Don't think that way. She's trying to steal your spotlight, and when people do that, they almost always make themselves look foolish. Your day will be wonderful and your guests will see that too!!!

I would just focus on your wedding and enjoy all the happy moments and planning. Life is too short to worry about what other people are doing. Obviously she has insecurity issues and needs the spotlight to be on her. I'm sure everyone knows that you had booked and have been planning your wedding for this month and she is just copying you.
