Need Tux/BURBERRY Advice, Ladies PLEASE GIVE OPINION

So my wedding colors are earth tones. Brown, Taupe and Champagne. FH and I got the tuxes and I am doing Brown vests (patterned vest but all brown) and striped brown tie (dark brown and light brown) for the guys and FH is wearing a solid Ivory vest and it came with a ivory striped tie. My dress is more ivory than white.

What do you guys thing of as a gift to him on the day of to surprise him with a Burberry tie. Would it look stupid? Do you think it would match? I know Ive seen some girls who do that can you post pics? Id love to see how it looks all together. Like will it look stupid that hes in a Burberry tie and everyone else is in brown? I mean I know hes supposed to stand out anyway so... Im confused, not sure what to do.

Re: Need Tux/BURBERRY Advice, Ladies PLEASE GIVE OPINION

Liz (egem) had her fh wear the burberry tie and the gm all wore solids. It looked great!

Our gm are doing burberry ties in a light grey, and fh will be wearing a burberry tie that matches my gown (pale pink). They all look great together..
My brother who is giving me away is wearing the claret colored burberry tie. So basically we're having a Burberry explosion walking down the aisle..

So my answer is go for it!

I think that will look great! I would love to have FH wear a Burberry tie, I love Burberry and I think it would look so cozy in the winter, but he would NEVER go for it. So I will live vicariously through all you ladies!

If you're looking for the classic novacheck, Century 21 was selling them for $50 or $59 each. I work in downtown Mahattan and saw at least 10 just last week. Check them out

Dh wore a burberry tie but so did our GM. But i still think that the groom can wear a burberry tie while the other guys wear a solid tie. I only have pics of all the guys in Burberry ties if you want to see, pics in my albums.

Thanx! Yea I wasnt sure if it would look silly that he would be the only one in Burberry.

Espo I LOVEEEEEEEE LOVEEEEEE your pics! Your wedding looked like you had so much fun! And you looked stunning! You and your husband make a gorgeous couple!
And I LOVE the ties! BUt I love that ALL your GM wore them too hmmmm....

But I think I might just do FH in Burberry!

Thanx ladies!

Re: Need Tux/BURBERRY Advice, Ladies PLEASE GIVE OPINION

i say do it

my DH always wears burberry ties and has a collection of them so i thought it would be a good idea for him to wear a burberry tie because its very 'him', then i saw Espo's wedding and all of the guys were wearing it and it looked great so we also had the groomsmen wear burberry as well - but they wore the classic to match with the bridesmaids - DH wore a grey/silver to match with me......
