Need undergarment advice ...

I'm going for my first fitting next Thursday. They want me to bring the bra/panties I'm going to be wearing day of. I haven't even looked, I was assuming they would put cups in but she said with a D cup she thought I should get a bra (I know I shouldn't be complaining lol). So, my question is....what do you think is best? just a strapless bra (in what color?? my dress is ivory...do I get nude?) and are you wearing a support panty or just regular (I'm so lost)?

so, i am a little large on top ( i thought for yrs I was 34 D until i went to a specialty bra shop to see about buying a corset for my dress and they told me i was an 30 F!!) anyway, i am wearing a strapless corset. I have a really short waist, so i had the corset cut and altered when they did the dress. Mine is a dark ivory color with my ivory dress. I had these little clips put into the dress that hold it to the corset so you don't see the top of the cup. If you don't want the full corset, you can go with a long waist bra. it has a little more below the cup then a standard strapless bra. As for panty, just a white lace thong that says 'bride' in crystals

My bridal shop told me the same thing...bring in the bra and panties that I wanted to wear, what they will do while I'm there is see what is best, put in cups or where a strapless bra. I bought a bra that is nude color and I've definitely made sure that i can return it, just in case they put in cups. I'm also going to be wearing spanx. There can't be any jiggly bits on wedding day

Ok, thanks Pam! So you are going with nude...ok great. Also, good idea about being able to return it if needed I feel so rushed with this now... I thought for sure they would just put cups in ...oh well!

Same here, it made no sense to me why they weren't just putting cups in. Maybe I really don't know what a cup in a dress is supposed to do. I picked nude, I bought it from Soma just because I wanted to be able to return it. This stuff just keeps on adding up

i got a nude bra and a nude thong, and my dress is white. at the fitting the told me they could also put in cups if i choose to go that way but i feel like a bra provides more support and thats a good thing!!
