Need up-do in Queens (Bayside area?)

Hi all:

I am in my best friend's wedding next weekend and she has requested we all have up-dos and I (of course) left making an appt off till the last moment! Can anyone recommend a place in the Bayside/Douglaston/Whitestone/Little Neck area (I already called Christie's and they are booked). A 'reasonable' place would be great too!

In Douglaston try Creative Hair, 718-428-5301.
They are right across the street from the westbound side of the train station.

Small salon, but I like that.
Nancy is the owner, Karen does my hair.

on bell blvd right across the stree form what used to be Byzantio.. there is a tanning salon called planet del sol. If u go up the stairs and ask for the spa. those 2 girls work wonders!! and they are fairly priced.idont have thier names or numbers but i have used them and they do good work!

She used to work at Christie’s but left and opened her own salon . She is sooo sweet and is GREAT!!!
It is right around the corner from the Auburndale LIRR station.
