need your help with gift idea

hi ladies

i need help with 2 gift ideas.

i need a gift for a MOMMY TO BE.
i need a gift for a baby boy.

any ideas?

Beck... this book is a great idea for any mommy-to-be and baby... esp. if it's a boy. (I got it for Brian and his wifey when they had Matthew... instant tears!!)

mommy to be-breast pump lol no but seriously if shes going to do that the whole big kit they have is good. Or maybe a GC for a massage haha

for a baby boy-well you can get things like a car seat, bouncer or those type of things. Or get it practical things they'll need such as alot of onesies, receiving blanket, and things of that nature

That is a really cute book, my nieces have it and its great! I would recomend it also

Speaking as a mommy.... I think a great gift to get as a mommy to be a day little bit of relaxation before the baby comes....
Maybe gift certificate to get a massage for mommy-to-be's.. Or even just a facial or manicure or pedicure... Those would be the greatest gifts ever! Its going to be hard for her to pamper herself or get any relaxation after the baby comes....

For the baby boy.... Usually clothes... (that is always a big help for mommy too!!!!) Most people will buy the baby clothes for 0-3 months.... I would suggest some outfit for 3-6 months.... At my baby shower I literally got about 200 outfits for 0-3 months... My daughter never got to wear half of them... But I got alot of 3-6 months as well and they came in handy! I didnt have to go shopping for new clothes until she was in 9 months.. And even then, I didnt need to get alot... Bigger sizes are always better!
Ummm.... soft toys// Or even a gift certificate to get his pictures taken.. Pictures are the greatest gift of all!

oh so its not people youre really close with

the gc for the mommy to be sounds good to me.

for your co-workers grandson just get a few items of clothing...or maybe those big gift baskets at babies r us with a few clothes, then baby powder, diaper ointment and all those things. Also fh and i always buy yankee stuff for the baby, well depending on their parents of course hahahaha...but recently along with other things we bought this little girl a pink yankees blanket. Another one a yankees dress. The onesie, little hat and all that. SInce its a co-worker its not necessary but very thoughtful of you so maybe a few onesies, a receiving blanket and an outfit would be fine

ANOTHER thing ive seen people give is the plate set and sippy cup from tiffany & co

for the mommy to be im not going to get a registry gift til the shower if she has one...this is just a small 'congrats' gift....

for the coworkers grandson same thing-just a small gift...

any baby stores in queens???
