So i weighed my envelope and if it's a regular envelope it's $.61 but then as a flat it's $1.05.The pocketfold is 5 by 7. I'm sending them out horizontally and it's 1.7 ounces.
What does it look like more a regular envelope or a flat envelope?
ETA: I went today to the post office and they are $.61 i'm so glad they are compared to the $1.05

It depends if you're mailing it vertically or horizontally. Vertically it's prob $1.05, but horizontally it's less b/c it can fit through the machines.

looks more like letter to me....mine were 6 x 6 and it was just enough to push me to the flat rate

It's such a beautiful envelope -- I like it horizontally like that too, and the price is certainly right!
Are you doing the calligraphy yourself or the semi-homemade way someone posted about? What color are you going with?

if you dont care that your invite might get folded or mishandled then send them 61cent but if not, you have to put them thru as parcel, where they dont get bent or folded or anything like that .... mine were 1.50 or 1.60 i dont remember and I put them thru as parcel mail and they had diamonds and everything and they made it to my guests totally perfect. They were 7x7 in the envelopes
