I just got engaged last Saturday have alredy narrowed my search for a reception site to two places. The first place is Villa Lombardi's... the place is amazing and all I hear is that the food is great. The second place is The Fountainhead. Me and my fh went there today and we liked the inside but the outside was absolutely nothing special. The only problem is that VL is so far from most of the people attending my big day.(about 45min. to 1hr.) Which may not be that bad...... But I don't know...... Any info will help... I never been to The Fountainhead for a party and I'm not sure about the food. I do know that VL has great food.

Villa did have a great cocktail hour we all love the food there!! But the sit down dinner was ok!! The place it self was really nice! I never heard of the other place that u mentioned sorry!! Also congrats!!

Go with VL the travel time is not bad at all! Don't settle your guest are going to come if the place is 15 minutes away or two hours away! It sounds like you love VL so go with it!

I've never been to VL but I have been to the Fountainhead. The food was great and the service was good. Good Luck

Is Fountainhead closer fr the majority of your guests? If so, I would go with closer if its a tie.

Go with the one that you love - your guests will travel the 45 min to the wedding. - Its' not a big deal, we've ALL done it !! The cocktail hour @ Villa is SOOOO good ! you don't have to eat a thing for 3 days !!

Go with the place you guys absolutely love! Your guests will travel, I once drove to NJ for a sunday night wedding my vote would be for Villa-

Congrats and welcome! I don't think one hour is too far to travel for your wedding. I agree, go with the place you love. I've never heard of the other place, but Villa Lombardis has a great reputaion, and their food is unreal!

Hi! I checked out both places also. Love the food at VL, but too far and FH did not like the decor. I've been to FH, food is great and so is the service, and the decor is much classier.
