Need your UV NAIL GEL Opinions! (I can only ask you guys!)

haha, I feel like if I asked anyone else this they wouldn't even be able to answer and would just make fun of me that I'm taking this so seriously..haha

Okay - need your opinions. So does this make sense if I did the below plan, or do you guys think I should just get the 1st set the Thursday before the wedding?

This Thursday, September 24 - get full set of UV Gel Nails

Next Thursday, October 1 - Nothing because it's only been 1 week.

3rd Thursday, October 8 - get a fill, dont' do white.

4th Thursday, October 15 - Nothing because it's only been a week.

5th Thursday, October 22 - Get a Fill have them do the 'white' this time, so the nails are totally ready for sunday, 10/25/09.

Am I forgetting something? This works, right?

That sounds about right. I usually go every two weeks (sometimes I can get away with three).

I only do the white part when necessary. But 3 days before your wedding should be just right to 'update' the white.

Good luck! I love the pink/white....it beats the white chipping on an airbrush french.

I am certainly a fan of the UV Gel perm french look!! I did this for years!!

Yea that's about right. when you do the white fill in they pretty much file off the whole gel and redo it so they will be more or less 'fresh' for your wedding day.

I love how it looks!! I had to stop doing it though becuase it literally DESTROYED my nails!!! It took a year or more for them to get back to normal. And now that they are... I'm about to go do it to them again! I'm holding off as long as I could though.

Anyone else hear that they can cause cancer? Someone read an article on this and I'm a tad freaked out by this. It's supposed to be from long time usage though.
