Negotiating Prices (Crescent Beach Club)

Hi,
When booking at a hall, how much flexibility do they give you when it comes top price PP?
For instance, I was quoted a price for the CBC. Will they move off of that at all?

I found that you can negotiate the price and also get extras thrown into that price (extra desserts or cocktail hour options). Good Luck! When are you getting married?

we looked there, loved it, but found that they were not very flexible in september & october. november is another story though!

I found the best way to negotiate price is to be honest and say 'this is my budget, can you work within it?'. We got the place we wanted for WELL below their initial stated costs and WELL below their stated minimum b/c I called and told them what we needed. I was honest, we couldn't go above that budget or minimum-and they were able to work with me.

most places will throw in extra food if they won't negotiate on price.
CBC is being rennovated so they have raised the prices. They might be more flexible for Fridays or Sunday. Not sure
I know that they try to book every night. If someone cancels - they will not refund the deposit and will put it towards the event if you book it!!
I know two people who got calls from them and got great deals (under $100 pp) because of other people's cancellations.
That is rare though.
There is always room to negotiate so I'd give it a shot.
