Nervous about gown shopping

Going gown shopping tomorrow, and am starting to get serious anxiety!!! Does anyone else get nervous at the thought of putting on a wedding gown???? Or am I nuts??? Putting on a gown makes the whole married thing a lot more real, hopefully, I don't throw up on any of the samples lol

aww. i haven't gone yet, so I don't know if I will get nervous. I hope you don't throw up lol. just have a good time trying on all the gowns, you still have time before the wedding, its not like once you put the gown on its done.. good luck!

I think I was most nervous with my mom purchasing the gown. But yes I was a little nervous trying on gowns. But then again, I saw 'THE' dress online and went to the bridal store for specifically that gown. It's natural to be nervous but when you find the right gown, youl'll be fine...

I am going to be nervous. What if everything looks horrific or if I happen to fall in love with a gown thats $358365738 lol. I can't wait to start though.

I got a little nervous before trying on my first gown. It was a mix between excitement of trying on the first wedding gown and OMG!! I'm really getting married!!!

I haven't gone yet. But I'm nervous just thinking about it. I'm nervous about how I will look in all white (because i'm pretty pale); I'm nervous about not being as skinny as I want to be; I'm nervous about finding 'the one.' I need to lose a few pounds before I go dress shopping. I will probably start in June or July.

I already ordered my gown, but I have tried it on a bunch of times....and each time I do I get this GIANT hive on my forehead.....damn nerves LOL

I ordered my dress already, I did get a little nervous the day after thinking I made my choice to fast, but that was it. What it really funny is when I put it on, I can't stop staring at myself in the mirror, cause I can't believe it's me in the dress!! You just can't prepare yourself for it!!!

yes i had tonssssssssssss of butterflies...and was totally nervous...

once you get in there youll forget it...youll be so wrapped up in the moment...and its so much fun! youll get over it quickly!

i was nervous at the thought of it too, but once you start trying them all, the nerves just disappear and you'll end up having a phenomenal time!

I think it's totally natural to feel nervous. I haven't gone either but I'm sure I'll be in full blown panic mode when I do lol.

awww don't be nervous - it's going to be sooo much fun! As soon as you step into the first gown you're nerves will go away. Just enjoy shopping for your dress and don't rush into anything. Dress shopping as been my favorite part thus far of this planning process!

I was definitely a mix of nervous and excited... then once I started trying on dresses the nervousness went away! ... Until it was time to make a final decision

Definitely take time to soak it in, and enjoy the experience. I found my gown relatively fast, so sometimes I wish I had spent more time just having fun. Trying on all these gorgeous gowns is such an incredible, once in a lifetime, experience.
