You ladies made me so nervous about booking the church. I thought I was going to wait but I called the church today! Know I am just waiting to hear back for my appointment. Does anyone know anything about the pre cana classes that is getting married in a Catholic Church?
Usually Pre-Cana is once a week for like 6 or maybe 8 weeks for a couple of hours and they just talk to you about having a successful marriage. Some parishes offer the entire Pre-Cana 'course' over a period of two days (one night and one full day) so you can get it all done with at once. FH and I were absolutely **dreading** it, but we ended up sort of enjoying it! We had a really awesome couple running it, which makes the difference.

Ohh wow our church does it over six months. The deacon called me back and we have an appointment tonight to set our date. I'm really excited for this.
Oh my Gosh were getting ready to go through the same thing. Last night FH and I had to buy this thing to do online and then we have to go to a class after to talk about our results! only after we finish that all that can we start Pre Cana and its 6 weeks... I believe! Can't believe how detailed this is! Heard its not so bad though, I am actually curious to see what it's all about.
Me too! We met with the Deacon booked our date. But he said to call the first of the nea yer because there calendar isn't up for 2015 yet lol. My Catholic Church is really strict with certain rules. We have to wait till they send a pre-cana notice out to sign up. We have the option of doing a weekend retreat from Friday night to Sunday afternoon so we might do that instead of the 6 weeks well see. But I'm happy because we went through the interview and paper work with the deacon . Little check but it is really a big thing to have booked!
