Re: NERVOUS STOMACH'S

:) I just discovered like a week ago that Diet Coke with Lime doesn't bother my stomach. So, I've been overdoing it with the soda, I need to stop. haha

Staying away from greens and some fruits is a good idea too. They cause gas, which translates to bad acid and bad stomach problems. White rice and bland chicken and breads are a good idea. Also, eating too much causes acid to rise and eating too hot or too cold items may do it too. Also, making sure you always have 'something' in your stomach is a good idea. I know an empty stomach gives me bad acid.

Problems, problems.

AME:

ME TOO THE MORNINGS ARE THE WORST FOR ME. IF I HAVE TO BE SOMEWHERE AT 12:00PM I WAKE UP AT LIKE 7:00 JUST TO MAKE MY TUMMY RELAX FOR A WHILE

I hate waking up with it! It ruins the day! I get up way earlier than I need to also. Going to sleep, or more like trying to go to sleep is awful!

Re: NERVOUS STOMACH'S

Can you elevate your bed? Try putting bricks under the bed so that your head is above your body. It stops the acid from rising. Also, try not to eat at least 2 hours before bed. I know it's hard, but it all helps.

Re: NERVOUS STOMACH'S

On the weekends I still avoid the bad foods and I try to never eat at least 3-4 hours before bed.

Re: NERVOUS STOMACH'S

I'm so glad you posted this...I'm already worried about what I'll do about it on my wedding day! Mostly my nervous stomach causes me to have problems digesting, so I may take Beano or something like that the day before and the day of. I will die if I'm stuck in the bathroom on my wedding day!!!

Re: NERVOUS STOMACH'S

i have ibs and gerd. for my wedding day i plan on eating some eggs in the mornin, some chicken breast and a plain yogurt. i have already cut out pasta and rice from my diet and starches b/c they aggravate my stomach. i may have some fruit in the morning too, but not too much b/c of the 'gas' potential! LOL. basically a very plain bland breakfast. i have been living with ibs since i was 10. only now since i have stopped eating pasta and rice and potatoes have i felt relief.

Re: NERVOUS STOMACH'S

I have IBS too! I hate it! I have been taking fiber and it really helps! I plan on eating light the day before and morning of and taking imodium as a preventative measure. My doctor said thats ok to do as long as you dont do it too much!
