Re: How many of you future in laws are helping out with the wedding?

My future in laws won't even pay for the rehearsal dinner. My parents are paying for my reception and bridal shower and his mother said we should have our rehearsal dinner at her house (which is very small) because anything else would be too expensive. Grrr....

my FIL's are paying for a majority of the wedding costs. our family is from texas, so a good 80% of the guests will be their family friends.

my parents are paying for the reception. and my future il's wanted to pay for the dj that we got at a great deal due to a friend. after my fh fighting about them being cheap, they gave us some $$$ for wedding plans. hey better than nothing i guess.

I totally understand! My in-laws have not offered us anything other then the rehearsal dinner which they are only having at the house. They definitely have the funds to help, and even come with me to vendors and dress shopping. My father is furious and thinks they should at least give in for their guests. So that leaves me with the dirty work!

You're kidding right? HELP?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
ALL my FMIL wants to give me is opinions!!!!!!!!
We asked them to pay for the RD, and they made some huge deal over it because jewish people don't traditionally have RD's..so instead of saying ti nicely and offering to pay for something else, they just gave FH a hard time for doing things the wrong way, and umm..somehow rejecting judaism
Apparenty there's a 627th mitzvah I don't know about!
