how far in advance are you sending out invitations?

I'm sending mine 8 weeks in advance...typically you do 6-8 weeks.

Hiiii welcome & congrats!!!!!!!!! I think you are supposed to send them out 6 weeks b4 your wedding date.

Hi congrats and welcome. I am getting married 2 days before you and I am sending mine out the end of Feb....earlier than most girls but it is memorial day weekend. HTH

I'm trying to figure out whether or not to go by what etiquette tells us or what my gut tells me. Summer wedding. . .want to lock in the date with people now. . .

I sent out save the dates to take some of the pressure off getting the invitations out. I'd be lying though if I said it didn't confuse some of the older relatives. Probably best to go with your gut though?

I'm sending mine out this Tues/Wed for April 4th... Everyone already knows the date...so I'm not in a super rush. LOL.

I am sending mine out very early (12-14wks) but that is b/c we have an A/B list and we also have to have people book the hotel by a certain date, so instead of wasting money on postage to send out the hotel info separately, we are including the info in our invitations. Our STD went out at our eparty (before we booked the hotel, so it kind of got tricky with what to do)
