New Bride-to-Be!

Newly engaged, bride-to-be here! Heard wonderful things about this site and hoping you girls can help me!!

We just began our search for Wedding Venues and I know we are missing a bunch of venues on our list!

So far on our list of interest are:
Crescent Beach Club
North Ritz Club
Bridgeview Yacht Club
The Inn at New Hyde Park
The Venetian Yacht Club

We are looking for a place that has a summery/bright feeling to it. I have felt like some of the photos from certain places have a dark wood which makes it feel cold/winter like to me. We are also looking to stay in Nassau County, as my fiance's family is from Connecticut and we don't want them to travel too far. We will have about 200 guests.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Windows on the Lake not sure how much the room holds but its beautiful view of the lake. Also maybe sunset harbor and the riviera? Oh also welcome and happy planning!

Obv I'm totally in favor of bridge view, but its seriously gorgeous and Kathy is fantastic to work with

I would also check out CLM. They're in Lindenhurst but still close enough to Nassau where it wouldn't be that inconvenient.

I love Venetian Yacht Club, of course I'm being biased. I also really liked Bridgeview Yacht Club and would've probably booked but they didn't have my date available

I'm biased about the Venetian too. I also think Bridgeview is lovely. Bridgeview is more modern while the Venetian has more of an old-world feel. All of the windows at the Venetian will definitely keep it bright.

Congrats!

I've been to a Wedding at Bridgeview and fell in LOVE with it. The food was awesome, the space is beautiful. Overall, just a great venue! Their min. was 150 though and we are having a smaller wedding. That was my 1st choice when I first started looking though

COngrats and welcome aboard. If you're looking for bright, obviously I'm biased, but Woodbury Country Club just completely renovated their downstairs room, including the bridal suits, hallway, bathrooms. Their outdoor space is also gorgeous if you're looking for that. Good Luck!
