Has anyone gone in for dinner there? i am not sure if this is necessary it actually kind of gets me really annoyed that i have to pay for dinner there when i am spending all this money on my wedding, can you let me know the price point of some of the main dishes if you have gone in tia
FH & I went last weekend with his parents & my parents. We ordered TONS of apps & drinks... all free (except for the dessert cordials, just so you know). Entrees run from $19-35 each, it all depends on what you get. It was a hefty bill, but considering all of the apps & drinks we had, we saved about $200.
Food was AWESOME by the way. If that's the way their food is at weddings, we are in very capable hands.
i thought that you got a free app with every entree, did they let you order more than that? tia i am going to go sometime in the middle of april the menu looks good just annoyed about them not doing a free tasting

We ended up ordering one app. per person and one entree per person (there were 6 of us). But I ordered all the apps in one shot for everyone (I could have ordered 7 or 8 and I don't think he would have noticed or cared). And we each had a cocktail, then glasses of wine with dinner, which were all included. We paid for our entrees, dessert & dessert drinks (cordials, coffee, etc.).
It is annoying that you have to pay, but honestly that seems to be what most places do these days. It's sad how you can't get a preview of business before paying anymore. I'm looking at florists now and I hate how most of them don't make samples before you book. Same thing, I guess.
The food is great though! You'll have a good time.

I have a question.. We are getting married in the garden at 6:30 on a Friday (weather permitting). I am worried that you will hear the traffic from Jericho Turnpike during the ceremony.. Anybody been to the outdoor ceremony there?
I had an outdoor ceremony in that garden at the same time (just Sunday evening) traffic noise was not an issue at all (it worried me at first too)...actually the fountain that they have running at all times right at the enterance to the garden blocks out the noise you can sorta hear the water which wasnt an issue.
I wouldn't worry!

I did. I upgraded to fondant (and 3 colorful ribbons in fondant for each layer). They charged me $250.

Past Fox Hollow Brides... what was the minimum amount of people have you seen in the Garden Terrace room? Do you think it would look empty with 150 people?

I actually have that same question- I'm thinking of moving up to the Garden Terrace and my BM told me yesterday that there was a 200 person minimum on this room. If they took away the min and let me move, I'd want to put about 160-170 in it and I think maybe it will look empty...

I think at 170 your fine. You can do round tables of 10, and do 17 tables staggered on either side. You can even do more table if you have some with eight and some with 10. Just remember the flowers go up though with more tables.

Does anyone have Ken as the BM? I feel like he was great when we booked with him but now every time I call him I get the feeling he's the biggest As$ on the planet.

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread
I am working with Dave Gerwin and I'm not sure if he is the GM but he is high up there. I had read posts about Ken before booking and I avoided him just because of the bad experiences people had with him. However, the day we booked, we were not able to see the reception room and went back at a later date to do this. Ken was the only one available and he was very nice to us. But if you are having problems already, definately try Dave- he's awesome!
