i feel you my friend!! mine was just at 309 and i had to cut it to 281. grrrr i hate cutting people!

I totally understand! Mine was over 350 because FH is a fireman and the ettiquette is that you invite all or none...so we had 50 guys in his firehouse each with a guest which brought us up to 350. I had to put my foot down because that was way too many people and I said that our hall will only carry 350...LOL. so we've decided to not invite everyone but only those he was in the academy with. But we're still at 220 and we have B list people...it sounds so evil and I feel terrible to put people on a B list but what can you do?

Mine was 155 and it was supposed to be 75 yeah right! So, we cut out all kids (except for 3/OOT'ers). Hopefully we'll only be inviting 120! Wish me luck

Technically, if you sent them STD's, you can't not invite them now. Thats why when I sent out mine, I only sent it to people I KNEW I was inviting...sorry hun...

i know that would be horribly rude. we definitely should have been more careful before sending them out!!

I only wanted to invite 120 but our list is up to 170. I need to cut the numbers because I really don't want that many people there.

Its hard because you get all excited and caught up in the moment and you want to invite everyone to be a part of your special day! I'm sure it'll all work out fine!

WOW-I thought ours was scary-we were up to 220 and just got it down to 190.

We had about 300 on our list but had to cut it down - our room only fits 260! So we're inviting about 275 now and hoping for no more than 250

Our list (total including all 'would be nice to invites') is around 165 or so. The max the room will hold is 150, but we want to keep it around 125. We are allowing kids cause we just don't want to force our cousins who are all OOT to find babysitters... We'll see. We have to figure out how many save the dates to send out now!

I was at 310 then we cut it to 303. We decided not to invite an aunt and a cousin. I know it was only 4 people but we have had a history with them. The straw on the cake was that they were invited to my bridal shower and they never resoponded. So after my shower I came home and ripped up their envelopes.

Anyway... our guest list was high but we knew some people could not come. They say 20% say no. My head count is 240 so it worked out to just the right amount of people we wanted.

I sent out 155 invitations (310 total people) and more than 1/2 is NOT coming!!! talk about sad!

Mine would ideally be 130-135 attending, but my parents keeping saying oh we need to invite this person and this person. The issue is not the money since they have said they will pay for the additional people, I just don't want a bunch of people I barely know. If it was up to them they would invite every person they ever knew.
